I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
JEREMIAH 32:27
Reflection Questions
1. Isn't it amazing how God can lovingly rear all of His children at the same time?
2. Is it hard for you to manage your child(ren), logistically speaking? Is there someone you could ask for help in making things run a little easier?
1. It's amazing that this reflection comes after this past Sundays service when I had this eye opening experience as to how small I am and the rest of the world and yet God still manages to take care of me sometimes so quickly I am shocked and other times my prayers are answered with patience.
ReplyDelete2. Logistically speaking. HA! I have one kid that I can barely control some days and here we are talking about having a second in the future and I keep thinking how will I ever manage with two kids. I know now that praying to God and asking him for help in making things easier is the best way to start- now he provides that help is what I need to be open to. This weekend JC chose not to nap and God provided me the 10 minute relief I need to breath by having my 14 year old neighbor home when I needed her. I was just running to pick up the dog from the groomers, cry, breath and pray. By the time I got back I was a better mom. I figured if JC wasn't going to nap then we were headed out to have fun...of course that didn't make me a great wife later that evening since I went to bed at 8pm but God provided when I needed him.
1) It is totally amazing how God can rear all of his children lovingly at the same time! It's hard enough with two!
ReplyDelete2) There are times when it seems like juggling monkeys sometimes, and I could totally relate to the one being ready to go and in the car and the other off looking for shoes or something else that she has to have for her day, or changing clothes on the way out the door. As for activities, the girls aren't going in different directions yet, but they've been there before and I'm sure will be there again soon. I can get a little bit of help from friends every now and then, and *sometimes* some help from their dad. I'll have to pray more for God to show me people who might be able to help me.
