Chapter 9: Forever

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:17
Reflection Questions:
1. Do you view your circumstances as the whole point of life, or as stepping-stones on the way to eternity? Either way, what difference does it make in the way you view your life?
2. How would seeing painful circumstances as fleeting and temporary change the way you endure them?

1 comment:

  1. 1. I think I see the circumstances of life as both the whole point and the stepping stones to eternity. I mean the point of life is to live and obstacles will confront us everyday how we handle those confrontations with God by our side is part of the stepping stone.
    2. Using the scripture of "this to shall pass" is a hard one to take in sometimes. Sure when Gene and I are having an argument I know that we will work out our differences, when I am not enjoying a particular season of my life I know that a new one is around the corner but when it comes to grieving I am not sure how long you are supposed to wait for the pain to pass. However what you do with that pain is all part of God's plan.
