The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
PSALM 18:2
Reflection Questions
1. When trouble comes, do you flee to your Father? If not, why not?
2. When you flee to God in your times of trouble, what do you receive from Him? If you flee to other "comforts," how do they compare?
Not as often as I should. I guess because it is new to me. I am trying to remember that in times of need to turn to him first. When I do turn to him I am always taken care of- might not always be the way I thought he would provide but he always takes care of me. I find that if I don't turn to God I try to fix my issues myself- which as we know doesn't always work out the way we need them too.
