1. Do you struggle with feeling physically inadequate? Have you accepted others' assessment of you as not being beautiful?


2. Does it help heal your heart to know that you are beautiful physically? Are you ready to accept God's opinion of you as truth?

Chapter 21: The Money Tree

1. Do you need to look to yourself (or your husband) to meet your needs, or do you look to God? Why or why not?


2. What can you plan to do first when your next need arises so that you look to God to meet your needs?

Chapter 20: Shut the Door...of Not

1. Do you usually seek indications as to whether God has closed or opened a particular door, or do you tend to step through whatever doorways look good to you?


2. Are you facing an important decision right now, and you need to know whether God has closed or opened a particular door? Have you been seeking Him consistently?


3. Has there ever been a time when God closed a door that you wished was open, but later you were He closed it?

Chater 19: Stop the Whining

Do everything without complaining or arguing.

1. Spend a day, or even an hour, keeping track of how many times you say something whiny or negative. Is it more or less often than you thought?
2. How might your personal and family life change if you were to spend more time speaking positive words, and less time speaking negative ones?

Chapter 18: Running Ahead

Trust the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all the ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

1. Can you think of a time when you've run ahead of God? Were the results what you hoped?

2. What steps can you take to make sure you don't run ahead of God next time you have to make a decision? Are you willing to take those steps?

Chapter 17: Infinite Love

The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

1. Hvae oyu ever truly opened your heart to God so He can fill it with His love? If not, what holds you back?

2. Did you know that God love yoou even more than you love your own children? Is this a new idea to you?

3. How can you make sure that you spend time in the next few days meditating on God's love for you?

1. When confronted with your sin, do you tend to make excuses? DO oyu feel the need to point out what others did that may have contributed to your sin?


2. If it's difficult for you to admit your sin, why is that? What needs to change in order for you to start taking responsibility for your actions?
